Making War Horse.

Just under 3 minutes of great footage exploring the behind the scenes making of War Horse. This will appeal to theatre lovers and prop designers alike! When getting a good look at the building of the puppet horse, the movement of it is incredibly accurate and the design is obviously incredibly well thought out. Based in The National Theatre in London, the play has been running now since 2007 and has proven to be one of the most popular plays to visit in London.

LEO | The Anti-Gravity Show

LEO from Toby Wegner is a solo theatre piece that has been performed around the world and premiered at Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2011. The act is a playful but brilliantly performed take on the idea of this mans world being disconnected from the laws of physics.

History of the Title Sequence

For those interested in animation or motion graphics and design, this is a great 2 minute clip that gives names of title sequence designers for movies, the presentation and filming is extremely well done, The clip was created by a graduate in 2011 and was made with the intention of vbeing an opening sequence for a documentary . The clip also won an award in 2012 for Vimeo 2012 Motion Graphics.

TEEBS / ANTE VOS / L.A.

A very short clip looking at an artist in L.A. who has used 400 record sleeves as his canvas in his latest exhibition. He paints over the record sleeves to create quite abstract pieces but also uses the imagery that’s on them already, he says this is to “bring them back to life”.
